To mark Blood Cancer Awareness Month, SIRIC ILIAD is delighted to be partnering with the third edition of the Hematology Patient Association Day.
Malignant blood disorders, commonly known as blood cancers, encompass several diseases, the most common of which are leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. These cancers develop from blood cells or bone marrow (white blood cells, red blood cells, or platelets) and affect approximately 45,000 new people each year in France*. In this context, patient associations play an important role: they support patients and their families, while helping to advance research and improve the care pathway.
That is why, for several years now, AF3M and the SIRIC ILIAD research teams have been working closely together to support patients and strengthen research into multiple myeloma.
Join us on September 25, 2025, to meet with various hematology patient associations on the 8th floor of the Hôtel-Dieu hospital from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
