In charge of the « Nuclear Oncology » team at CRCINA.

Professor Michel Chérel is jointly in charge of the « Nuclear Oncology » team at CRCINA.

He is particularly involved in the development of vectorised therapy with radionuclides emitting alpha particles. He has also participated in the development of nuclear medicine within the framework of the IRON LabEX so as to develop nuclear imaging protocols for immunology (cell tracking, imaging of the activation of T-cells). His work on clinical protocols upstream and his status as co-director of the Arronax cyclotron allowed him to become involved, very early on, in the development of radioelements for therapy and imaging.
